Map of Suiti country

The historic Suiti region is located in the Western part of Latvia, near the Baltic sea coast, between port towns of Liepāja and Ventspils. Today this historic Catholic anclave is administratively divided in two parts by municipalities of Kuldiga (Alsunga and Gudenieki parishes) and Ventspils (Jūrkalne parish). Alsunga is the main population, economic and cultural center of the historic Suiti region.
